Privacy policy

OuterJoin (Outer Join Solutions) builds retail data reporting for suppliers to South African retailers. We are based at COLAB House, 5 Zulberg Close, Bruma, Johannesburg.

When you send us an enquiry through this website we receive what you type into the form:

• your name and company
• your email address
• your phone number, if you give it
• the retailers you sell through, if you choose any
• your message

When you ask for a quotation at pricing.outerjoin.co.za we receive your name, company, email, phone number and the channels and bands you choose.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to run and protect the site.

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you. It tells us which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from, nothing more.

Only to reply to you, to prepare for a meeting with you, and to prepare a quotation you asked for. We do not add you to a marketing list or contact you about anything else without your permission.

The OuterJoin team, and the service providers that handle it on our behalf to make the website and email work:

• Vercel, which hosts this website and the quotation form
• Resend, which delivers form submissions to our inbox
• Microsoft 365, which runs our email

Some of these providers store data outside South Africa, under their own security and privacy commitments. We never sell or rent your information to anyone.

We will also share it if the law requires us to, for example under a court order, or where it is needed to protect our rights or the safety of others.

We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Only the people who need it to deal with your enquiry can see it, and it travels over encrypted connections.

For as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows. After that we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.

If OuterJoin is sold or merged with another business, your information may pass to the new owner, who must keep using it as this policy describes.

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to us using it. Email us and we will deal with it promptly.

If you are not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
